Concept Overview & Spatial Design
A wall-mounted vertical tire tray (such as a Steadyrack) that cradles the front tire and allows the entire bicycle to pivot 160 degrees flat against the wall.
Step-by-Step Installation Blueprint
-
Locate a wall stud and mark mounting holes so the bottom rear tire rests 2–3 inches above the floor.
-
Drive heavy-duty lag bolts through the top and bottom mounting plates directly into the center of the stud.
-
Roll the front wheel directly into the metal cradle arm without lifting the full weight of the bike.
-
Swivel the rear of the bike left or right against the wall to open up the central garage walkway.
-
Clip the lower rear-tire stabilizer plate to the wall to keep tire scuffs off your drywall.

Pro Mechanic Tip
You never have to physically lift the bike off the ground: simply pull the rear brake, stand the bike on its rear wheel, and roll the front tire straight into the swivel cradle.
