Concept Overview & Architectural Design
A traditional multi-tiered pagoda featuring upturned curved eaves, a crimson-and-white facade, a central timber pillar (shinbashira), and an authentic koi pond.
Step-by-Step Structural Guide
-
Lay an $11times11$ square stone foundation using polished andesite and stone bricks.
-
Build the primary structural frame 4 blocks high per tier using stripped mangrove logs for crimson framing and smooth quartz for white infill.
-
Extend each roof tier outward with dark prismarine or warped stairs, curling the four corner tips upward using slabs and trapdoors.
-
Step each subsequent story inward by 1 block as you build upward through 3 to 5 tiers.
-
Crown the apex with a vertical copper rod spire (shinbashira) made of lightning rods and end rods.
-
Surround the base with a winding koi pond featuring water lilies, sea pickles, bamboo stalks, and cherry blossom trees.

Pro Builder Tip
Use warped trapdoors on the undersides of the upturned roof corners to give the eave flare a smooth, clean wooden curve.
